Kidnap and murder of 29-year-old Shizuoka nurse leads to two arrests; one suspect remains at large.
16th June - Shizuoka
At 18:00, 26th May, 29-year-old Mayuko Uchiyama's car was invaded by two men while leaving to drive home in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka.
Her vehicle was found in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, while her naked remains were discovered near the roadside of Fujieda, Shizuoka.
The two men caught on security camera invading her car, Mitsuru Suzuki and Motoki Ito, were arrested which led to the admission the two men had met on a website known as a 'dark site' in Japan.
A 'dark site' is a webpage found within the hidden web (websites which do not appear on search engines).
Dark sites focus on negative aspects of humanity, such as war, terrorism, torture, suicide, crime, and murder. These sites tend to recruit readers into committing crimes or self-harm under peer pressure.
The men met on a dark site which had a post for profitable work through crime. Both men did not know the victim.
On Monday, Mitsuru Suzuki turned himself into a police station within Nagoya which led to the discovery of Motoko Ito. A third man caught on camera has yet be identified.
A number of dark site crime has occurred in Nagoya, including the kidnap and murder of Rie Isogai as she was walking home in Jiyuugaoka (Chikusa Ward, Nagoya) -
known as the 'Dark Site Murder'. |
